On October 1, 2017, over 55 people were killed and over 500 people were injured by a gunman in Las Vegas, making it the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history. On June 16, 2016, 49 people were killed and dozens were wounded at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. APB speaker Jeff Bauman was only standing feet away from one bombs at the 2013 Boston Marathon. As a result, both of his legs were amputated above the knee. The movie Stronger tells the story of his recovery.

Jeff Bauman was an ordinary person who set out to enjoy Marathon Monday in Boston on April 15, 2013. He never dreamed that day would change his life forever. After an explosion led to both of his legs being amputated, he vowed to overcome tragedy and rebuild his life. He shares his inspirational journey in the New York Times best-selling memoir, Stronger, which was made into the highly anticipated new movie of the same name.
