Biography
Robert Jackson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Robert Jackson Consulting, LLC. A highly sought-after keynote speaker, executive leader, relationship coach, and award-winning author, he is known for his guiding philosophy: “For every problem, there is a solution.” With over 28 years of experience in the corporate sector, Mr. Jackson has held successful roles as an Executive Sales Specialist, Trainer, Coach, and Presenter.
Mr. Jackson launched his career in the pharmaceutical industry over two decades ago following an initial career as a high school teacher and coach. This transition occurred after his time as a professional athlete with the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings came to a close. His impact on the industry is evidenced by the numerous sales professionals he mentored who later advanced to President’s Circle winners, district and regional managers, and executive leadership roles.
During his tenure, he served as the lead trainer for the "Train the Trainer" program for 10 years and facilitated the "Managers Training Program" for 7 years. As an Executive Sales Specialist, he ranked in the top 10% of his company for more than five years and earned over 25 awards in recognition of his performance and contributions. Mr. Jackson is widely recognized for his ability to increase revenue, solve complex organizational challenges, and motivate diverse teams.
A dynamic presenter, he has delivered workshops and seminars on a range of topics, including Team Building, Leadership Development, Self-Care, Mental Health Awareness, Cultural Diversity and Inclusion, Trauma, and Social and Emotional Learning. A passionate advocate for wellness and leadership, he emphasizes communication, resilience, personal growth, healthy living, and actionable strategies for achieving a fulfilling life.
As an accomplished author, Mr. Jackson has published seven books and contributed to Educational Leadership magazine by ASCD. His work has been featured in numerous national publications in the U.S. and Canada. He has also made appearances on media platforms such as Our Voices in Miami, Florida, the National Medical Association Conferences, and the talk show Two Funny Mamas with actress-comedians Kym Whitley and Sherri Shepherd.
Mr. Jackson earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Western Kentucky University, where he was a four-year letterman in both football and track. After his NFL career was unexpectedly cut short, he faced personal and professional challenges that ultimately led him to pursue a deeper calling. His lived experiences and journey through adversity shaped his understanding of trauma, resilience, and purpose—fueling his rise as a nationally recognized speaker and change agent who has inspired audiences across the U.S., Canada, and internationally.
A life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the NFL Players Association, Mr. Jackson has been recognized with numerous honors, including the 2024 Legacy Award, the Key to the City of Miami, Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, the Bert V. Watkins Award for Leadership, the PCI Manager Training Certification, and MVP honors within his sales team.
Mr. Jackson is married to Essence Best-Selling Author Tajuana “TJ” Butler-Jackson. Together, they have three children and two grandchildren.
