Lead with P.A.S.S.I.O.N to Speak Up & RISE!
You’ll learn how to respond confidently in any challenging situation. Have you ever felt caught off guard when someone disagrees with you, or disrespects you in any way? Maybe you find yourself bulldozing through, freezing, walking away, or even people-pleasing. Many of us struggle to navigate conflict effectively. Diana will break down the inner responses we tend to fall into, to know what the “F” is going on inside of us (as a Fighter, Freezer, Fleer, or Fawner (people-pleaser).
You'll learn from Diana's proven P.A.S.S.I.O.N. principle to help you handle these moments with resilience. We first must Pause, Assess the situation, get some Space if needed, and then Speak. When you choose to PASS on reacting immediately - making assumptions, or taking things personally - you’ll find energy (ION) to gain fresh Insight, and maybe even think, “I hadn’t considered that perspective before.” This leads to Openness, which leads to you wanting to learn more and gain N(K)nowledge about handling conflict. Ultimately, this helps you find common ground, strengthens your resilience, and puts you INpower to keep speaking up and RISING in any situation.
Lead with Resilience & Psychological Safety
It’s popular to say things like “bring your authentic self to work,” or “this is a place where you belong,” or “we want you feel at home, at work.” But, those are mere words, if people don’t feel a sense of safety at work. People have been “masked up” and pretending for far too long - being one person, behind the scenes, and another, in front of others. In this case, you are not getting the greatest work from your employees.
In this presentation, Diana teaches participants how to know when people don’t feel psychologically safe to share, what causes an identity gap, steps leaders and employees can take to close their own personal identity gap, and even that of their entire work culture, and habits to encourage employees to adopt to do their greatest work… at work.
Revive Your Authentic Leadership & Say Goodbye to Imposter Syndrome
When people say they struggle with imposter syndrome or the fear of missing out (FOMO), that’s typically a red flag that people lack a good sense of self. They struggle with the “disease to please”, judgment jail, apathetic lockdown, and quiet vengeance - which leads to frustration, heightened stress, depression, anxiety, and unhealthy habits. This is why people at work are unable to deeply relate to others … After all, if you don’t have a good relationship with yourself, how can you have a good relationship with others?
In this presentation, Diana outlines the necessary steps for people to have their own personal “revival of self” … which starts by creating their own personal well-being promise plan. By sticking to this plan, participants are sure to increase their well-being, and their confidence. Diana even offers a continuous improvement opportunity package for participants to see their way to well-being and confidence, well after the presentation.
Why Trust Is the Ultimate Health Disparity Gap-Closer
When someone violates your trust, you don't want anything to do with them - no matter if the other person can positively change your life. The same holds true for people in desperate health conditions. Broken promises and a lack of acknowledging mistakes have caused the divide to increase. Diana will share how the impact of her year-long work with the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio, and the Community Health Workers, helped to build trust among the staff, and how that positively trickled down and impacted the community. Diana will share how humility, honesty, integrity, and communicating from a space of lived experiences, over a sustained period of time, builds trust and decreases health disparities.
