APB Exclusive Speaker Chamique Holdsclaw Named 2026 Finalist by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame
16 Feb 2026
We are excited to share that Chamique Holdsclaw, one of the most decorated players in women’s basketball history and an APB exclusive speaker, has been named a Finalist for the Class of 2026 by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. A three-time NCAA Champion at Tennessee, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1999 WNBA Draft, six-time WNBA All-Star, and 2000 Olympic gold medalist, Holdsclaw helped shape a generation of women’s basketball with her dominance, leadership, and competitive fire. The full Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be announced April 4 on ESPN2 during Final Four Weekend.
Off the court, Holdsclaw has become an influential advocate for mental health and wellness, and one of our most-booked keynote speakers. After openly sharing her own experiences with depression and anxiety, she has dedicated her platform to breaking stigma and supporting athletes and young people through conversations around resilience, healing, and self-care. Today, she is widely recognized not only for her basketball legacy but also for her courageous leadership in advancing mental health awareness nationwide.
